This looks fantastic. Tell me, can you suggest any Barolo's or Barbaresco's? My wife and I are going to make wine next crush from Nebbiolo grapes, and we are sampling as many Piemonte varieties as possible before we begin.

Well, I should first start with a disclaimer: Italian wines are not my forte. Yet, I have had some memorable wines. The obvious Barbaresco recommendation is Gaja. The best Barolo on memory was a Brezza 'Bricco Sarmassa', 1999. My wife and I had this at her birthday dinner -- I didn't take notes at the time, but it made the meal!
