Taste: Wow! (And yes, this is a magnum!) What a treat ... this wine was unbelievably fantastic. I hate to admit it, but this blew the doors off a 1966 Chateau Latour we had the same night.

Taste: Like a cold dark lake. Unfortunately, not a lot of zing or punch. Quiet. Tastes like it had peaked years before, but it was still spectacular.
Finish: Exceptionally smooth and mellow. Cool.
